Its self-propelling feature makes the maneuverability a lot easier especially around the obstructions like trees. This Troy Bilt Self Propelled Mower TB330 has Briggs & Stratton OHV 163cc engine which is quite good in terms of performance. In order to get the mower started you need to pull the starter once or twice. However, when we tested its start system it started with a single pull and we tried it multiple times.
It has a wide 21-inch cutting deck that covers more grass at a time. This Troy Bilt Mower comes with a 1.9-bushel bag that is used to collect the grass clippings but the provided bag is a bit smaller as compared to that of the Honda Mower HRX217K5VKA. However, this Troy Bilt Lawn Mower allows you to both mulch and side discharge the clippings which makes it a 3 in 1 mower.
The mower provides six cutting height adjustments that you can set with the help of a lever on the mower. The height range that you may select from is 1.25 – 3.75 inches.
You can easily control the blade by using the blade controlling handles. If there is any obstruction like pets or kids that come in your way while you mow and you suddenly need to stop the blade then all you need to do is just release the blade controlling handle.
This Mower lets you set the speed of the mower according to your pace and you may select 4 speed for this mower that you can control comfortably. The mower has 8-inch sized back and front wheel which is normally considered good for an uneven terrain. It would have been better if this mower had larger rear wheels for better grip. However, Its Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) feature helps in better maneuverability even on the rough terrain but larger back wheel works better. Cleaning a lawn mower is sometimes a very tiring job but the Troy Bilt Lawn Mower TB330 comes with a deck washing system that allows you to clean the deck and the blades without much hassle. You simply need to connect the water hose to the wash port of the mower and the water pressure will clean the deck and the blades together.
